Easy Rose

  Sc- Single crochet
 Dc- double crochet
 HDC- half double crochet
 SS- slip stitch
 Sk- skip
 Ch-chain
 St- stitch
 Dec- decrease

These roses take little time and are very fun to make!

ch 50
1. dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each st across

2. (ch 4, sk 3, 1 sc in next st) across

3. ch 2, (8 dc in ch 4 space, 1 ss in sc) across

If you want the rose to lay flat instead of having a stem, then increase the 3rd row by double crocheting 10 instead of 8.

For the leaves ( if you want them)
Make a ch as long as you want the leaf, then add one ch for a sc. You'll want to sc for a few sts (depending on how long you made the ch) , then hdc for a few more, then dc, and only do about 2 trebs until you get to the last st. in the last st, do about 5 or 6 trebs (you might want to do more if you want a bigger leaf) then mimic what you did on the chain to the other side so the stitches will be the same.

 Calyx 1:

Ch 2, 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook

1. 2 sc in each st
2. 2 sc in each st
3. 1 sc in next 4 sts, ch 1, turn, 1 sc in first st, dec, 1 sc in next st, ch 1 turn, 1 sc in first st, dec, ch 1 turn, 1 sc in last st for the first leaf, ss down the side----------------------------->
Sew the calyx to the rose but don't sew the leaves. You want the leaves to be kinda flexible.

 Now for the stem.

Take a piece of wire (wire hanger or whatever) or pencil and tie a knot. Next, you can either single crochet down the wire, or wrap it. Personally, I like wrapping it because it takes less time, but whatever floats your boat.

Amigurumi Flower!

I was experimenting with the petals so one came out a little small. I was looking for an amigurumi flower, but I couldn't find one anywhere, so I decided to make my own.

Completed Gothic Lolita

This skirt would look beautiful layered or with fabric underneath. It will make a great skirt for a teen no matter what their favorite color is.

Gothic Lolita Crochet Skirt

Inspired by many lolita skirts on Google and other crochet skirts, I decided to make my own. This will be my third or fourth attempt at a big project, but I'm determined to finish this one.

It increases on it's own so it works out pretty well and the only stitches needed are chain, single crochet, and treble (triple) crochet so it's a very easy project.

It's a little difficult for me to write the pattern since I've only written one other pattern, but I'll give it my best. Once completed, it will be a FREE download.

Animal Crossing:Wild World Doll

This doll was quite easy to make. After looking at a picture for the thousandth time I finally got around to actually making it. Pattern is free and can be sold, just give me all the credit =p
